St. Mary AARP continues Christmas Bag project

St. Mary AARP kicked off its yearly Christmas Bag project by providing bags filled with snacks to its members 80 years and older. AARP has assembled and hand delivered more than 200 bags in the Tri-City and surrounding areas for the past three years. This year, bags were hand delivered as far east as Houma and as far west as Baldwin. Sponsoring this year’s bags are Ochsner St. Mary and Jarrod Longman.
