Terry, Hebert reappointed to St. Mary Levee District board

The Governor's Office on Friday announced that two members of the St. Mary Parish Levee District have been reappointed.

Wilson “Will” Terry of Franklin has been appointed. Terry is a farmer and a management consultant. He will represent St. Mary Parish District 1.

Junius “J.P.” Hebert Jr. of Franklin was also reappointed. Hebert is owner and operator of Circle H Ranch. He will represent St. Mary Parish District 3.

The other board members are Luther Smith, District 2; Daniel J. Lipari, District 4; Mike Ortiz, District 5; Andrew Mancuso, District 6; Kenneth Arceneaux Jr., District 7; Norris Crappell, District 8; and William "Bill" Hidalgo, who serves at large and is the board's chairman.

The mission of the St. Mary Levee District is to protect the people and property of St. Mary Parish from threats of flooding caused by riverine waters and hurricane storm surges.
