Summer treat for Morgan City Library

Representatives of Sonic restaurant, Morgan City Library leaders, young readers and the world's largest tater tot gathered Thursday for a $1,350 donation from Sonic to the library's programs. Sonic recently sold slushes and donated the proceeds to the library. Among those present were library board members Nathalie Weber, Ila Hardee, Natalie Johnson and Leslie Smith; General Manager Blayne Lewis and Sutton Travis of Sonic; Morgan City Chief Administrative Officer Charlie Solar; and Neal Mayon of the library.
