Seminar in Morgan City offers info on home ownership

The Community Homeownership Seminar, hosted by the Morgan City Housing Authority and The TK Group, will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium, East Concourse.
The event is free and open to the public.

This educational seminar is designed for current and prospective homebuyers, homeowners, sellers, aspiring realtors and real estate investors. Featured presenters include Teresa Jennings, realtor, and Clarence Robinson Jr., executive director.

Attendees will hear from a panel of industry professionals who will provide valuable information on homeownership, mortgage lending, credit readiness real estate investing, and the home-buying process. Loan officers, home inspectors, and real estate professionals will be available on-site to answer questions and provide resources.

Admission is free. There will be complimentary refreshments and snacks, gift bags while supplies last, networking opportunities with housing and real estate professionals and access to experts who can help guide people on the path to home ownership.
