MCBANK expands footprint in New Orleans
MCBANK announced Wednesday that it has executed a lease agreement for additional office space in the Pan-American Life Center at 601 Poydras St., marking a significant expansion of its downtown New Orleans headquarters.
The bank, which now occupies 6,710 square feet in the building, will expand its occupancy to over 23,000 square feet, with plans to grow into the entire 12th floor.
The new 12th floor space in the Class A trophy tower reflects continued growth and long-term commitment to the New Orleans market, the bank said in a press release.
It features a distinctive atrium design and will serve as a collaborative hub for MCBANK associates while providing an inviting environment for clients and community partners.
The lease marks another milestone in the bank’s continued growth following its recent merger and successful capital raise, the bank said.
“This investment reflects our confidence in the future of both our organization and this community,” said Daryl Byrd, chairman and CEO of MC Bancshares Inc.
“As our team continues to grow, we wanted a space that supports collaboration, welcomes our clients and community partners, and positions us for continued success.”
Located in one of the city’s premier office towers, the new space will complement MCBANK’s existing presence in the New Orleans market while providing additional capacity to support the bank’s expanding operations and talent base, the bank said.
MCBANK thanked the Stirling team for its partnership throughout the lease process and looks forward to being a significant tenant.
The bank also opened a full-service banking center at the corner of St. Charles Avenue and Union Street in downtown New Orleans, and recently announced plans for a new River Ranch office in Lafayette, further expanding MCBANK’s presence across Louisiana markets.
Additionally, the bank is opening offices in Atlanta, Miami, Baton Rouge and Birmingham by year-end.
