The Daily Review wins three first places
The Daily Review won three first places in the Louisiana Press Association competition for work published in 2017.
The results were released Saturday. The Daily Review competes in Division II for small dailies.
The Daily Review won first in the News Photo competition with a photo of a Morgan City public works crew repairing a water line on a January day.
The paper also won the Sam Hanna Award for taking first place in the Best Regular Column category.
The Daily Review won first and second in the Best News Video category with video stories about the Chez Hope Trivia Night and local preparations for Tropical Storm Cindy.
