Busy on the bay

A tugboat stands by the pipe used by the Weeks Marine dredge Capt. Frank to work on Berwick Bay near the Morgan City side north of the bridges. Port of Morgan City Executive Director Raymond "Mac" Wade said Monday that the Capt. Frank was in the area to clean the southern end of the port's channel and came north for some unscheduled work. The next scheduled dredging in the bay is for this fall.
