A rainbow graced the sky Friday as the Cajun Culinary Classic opened in Lawrence Park in downtown Morgan City. Food in Lawrence Park is available starting at 11 a.m. each day of the festival.

S&P festivities plentiful despite rain

Louisiana Shrimp and Petroleum Festival Queen Caroline Green has been busy promoting the local Labor Day weekend festival across Louisiana. She attended the ninth annual Scott Boudin Festival, top photo, held April 22-24.
