CENTERVILLE -- The St. Mary Parish School Board on Thursday approved revisions in the agreement by which the former M.D. Shannon Elementary would be sold to the Morgan City government.
Berwick High School sophomore Cherish Lewis, holding certificate at right, was recognized by the St. Mary Mary Parish School Board on Thursday for her poetry.
The Students of the Month are Hudson Gorman, a fifth-grader at Wyandotte Elementary, and Caliss Williams, an eighth-grader at Franklin Junior High. Not pictured is senior Keatyn Harden of Patterson High, who missed Thursday's meeting to play in a PHS softball game.
