The Krewe of Hannibal presented King Hannibal XLIII Kendrick Garner and Queen Cleopatra XLIII Trang Ho as its royalty during the Hannibal tableau held Saturday at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium. In keeping with the theme, “The Greatest Show,” the king depicted The Greatest Showman and the queen was Charity Barnum. Krewe members will parade with the Krewe of Dionysus at 2 p.m. Saturday in Berwick and with the Krewe of Amani at 2 p.m. Monday in Patterson.

Jason Romero and Alex Romero are King and Queen Dionysus XLIV. They were presented Saturday at the Krewe of Dionysus court held at the Berwick Civic Complex. In keeping with the theme, “Dionysus is Ready to Rock,” the king depicted Elvis Presley and the queen was Cher. The krewe will present its parade at 2 p.m. Saturday in Berwick.

Hephaestus, Amani complete Mardi Gras ball schedule

Just two balls remain on the Tri-City Carnival schedule for Saturday. The Krewe of Amani and the Krewe of Hephaestus will each host a tableau Saturday.

BERWICK — The Town Council spent much of its Tuesday meeting passing out kudos to heroes in the classroom and in law enforcement.
