VIOLET LEBLANC BELANGER

January 15, 1938 – March 27, 2017
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin during a 7 p.m. memorial service for Violet LeBlanc Belanger, a native and lifelong resident of Franklin who passed away at her home on Monday, March 27, 2017, at the age of 79 with her family by her side. Father Peter Emusa will conduct the memorial. Private inurnment will be held at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at Ibert’s from 5 p.m. until service time.
Those she leaves to cherish her memory include her three children, Wilbur Alleman and his wife Lea, Ricky Alleman and his companion Deirdre “DeeDee” Satathite, and Denise Belanger and her companion Ves Mashburn; two sisters, Patsy LaGrange Phillips and her husband Gary and Penny LaGrange Falgout; four grandchildren, Chris Alleman, Kerry Alleman, Kasey Alleman, and Heidi Belanger LeBourgeois; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence P. LeBlanc; her mother, Odell Ewing LaGrange; her step-father, Eugene “Cajun” LaGrange; one brother, Michael LaGrange; one sister, Diane LaGrange Broussard; and one grandson, Korey Paul Alleman.
