Local traffic notices

A crew will be filming a KFC commercial on Main Street around noon.
City officials say traffic will be slowed to allow the crew to film two actors in a convertible for the commercial.
There are also other road closures in the local area planned, according to the state Department of Transportation and Development.
La. 182 over the Charenton Navigation and Drainage Canal (Baldwin canal) will be closed on Monday, March 27, for routine bridge inspections.
The work is estimated to take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., weather permitting.
The detour route will include La. 83, US 90 and La. 3211. Detour signs will be posted.
The Amelia Bridge on La. 182 over Bayou Boeuf will be closed on Monday, March 27, for routine bridge inspections.
The work is estimated to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., weather permitting.
The detour route will include Duhon Boulevard, US 90 and La. 662. Detour signs will be posted.
On Sunday, March 26, there will be alternating lane closures in the eastbound and westbound lanes of US 90 on the Atchafalaya River Bridge, Bayou Ramous Bridge and Bayou Boeuf Bridge in St. Mary Parish for cleaning debris from the shoulders of the bridge.
This work is estimated to take place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
All permit and oversize loads along with emergency vehicles will be allowed to pass. There are no detours.
