Centerville High School sets cookoff on April 8

Centerville High School will host a unique event on Saturday, April 8 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
The First Annual Cast Iron Cook-off and 5K Color Fun Run at the school’s back parking lot area and old gymnasium. Area artists and crafters who wish to set up booths are encouraged to attend.
Individuals and teams are able to compete against each other for a chance at cash prizes, and the title of “Cast Iron Cook-off Champions.”
All competitors must cook on site in cast iron vessels only. Prizes are $100 first place, $50 second place, plus trophies for first, second and People’s Choice awards.
