Brittany's Project set for Saturday

Brittany’s Project Sixth Annual Show and Shine, Rat Rod, Tractor and Vendor Fundraiser is set for Saturday.
The funds will go to the activity center that is planned to begin construction this year.
The event is held at the project site on the La. 323 Oaklawn Bridge Approach Road between Franklin and Oaklawn Manor.
Activities and attractions include: races and burnouts, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; dunking booth throughout the day; a magic show with Mitch Richard, 12:15-1 p.m.; photos with the Easter Bunny, 11 a.m.; face painting and balloons by Frank and Tammy, 1-3 p.m.; fun jump, barrel train, petting zoo and horse rides, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; car show 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with awards at 3 p.m.; K 9’s from Southern Animal Justice; and wagon rides. Music includes Tedur Live at noon, Just Cuz at 4:30 p.m. and Southern Roots in the evening.
