BATON ROUGE — The LSU AgCenter is using the MarketMaker website to connect producers and consumers to fresh seafood, produce and a range of other items.

Have delivery people leave bags outside and remove the contents before bringing them into your home. Then dispose of the delivery containers. Takeout food should be transferred from the original containers to storage or serving dishes and reheated to 165 degrees, according to LSU AgCenter nutrition agent Quincy Vidrine. The disposable containers should be discarded immediately.
