Patterson Garden Club holds February meeting

Patterson Garden Club held its Feb. 13 meeting at the home of member Iris Roy. Sharon Larson was the host.
President Ginger Griffin lead the business meeting with a discussion of refurbishing the Welcome to Patterson sign and the flowerbeds at the east end of the city.
Simplifying the scholarship application was also discussed. Applications will go out soon to Patterson High School students graduating this year. Students will have an April deadline to return the application.
A March day trip has been planned for members instead of a monthly meeting.
The half-and-half drawing was won by Roy.
Members were treated to po’boys, cheesecake and pralines.
