The Patterson Lumberjacks advanced to the title game at the District 9-3A Tournament at St. James with a 60-36 victory against Donaldsonville Tuesday.
The Morgan City High School fishing team participated in the Louisiana High School B.A.S.S. Nation Winter State qualifier in Bayou Segnette Saturday. Saturday’s tournament featured 160 teams.
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles qualified for the Division IV postseason as the No. 8 seed. The Lady Eagles will host No. 9 St. Frederick Monday at 5:30 p.m. in Morgan City.
The Patterson Lumberjacks improved to 4-0 in regular-season District 9-3A action Friday with a 66-48 win against Lutcher at Patterson.
