Berwick wins in rout behind 13-run inning

Trailing 4-1, the Berwick Panthers erupted for 13 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning for a 14-1 run-rule win against Central Lafourche in high school baseball action in Berwick Wednesday.

The Morgan City High School Lady Tigers improved to 9-1 this season with a 6-3 victory against Thibodaux on the road Wednesday. Morgan City will return to action Thursday when it hosts Ellender in District 7-4A action. Morgan City defeats Thibodaux, 6-3

Morgan City High School defeated Thibodaux High, 6-3, on the road Wednesday.
Hits were even at eight apiece, and Morgan City committed three errors to Thibodaux’s single miscue.
