WSM Wolfpack

WEST ST. MARY’S Daylon Richard races to third base during Monday’s action at the West St. Mary Baseball Field. The West St. Mary Wolfpack came up on the short end of an 8-7 loss to the Abbeville Wildcats. West St. Mary starting pitcher Deondre Jack worked 5 and 2/3 frames before giving way to Oshay Phillips, who worked 1 and 1/3 innings. Paylun Druilhet and Daylon Richard were the top hitters for the Wolfpack. Druilhet went 2 for 3 with a double, single and sacrifice while Richard was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. West St. Mary, currently 1-2 in league play, will host Loreauville today at 4 p.m. in District 8-2A action.
