Morgan City High School graduate Hannah Pipes was the recipient of the 2017 Morgan City U.S. Bowling Congress Bowling Association's 2017 scholarship. In addition to her numerous youth state bowling awards, Pipes was a four-time first-team All-District bowler on the prep level and a three-time District Most Valuable Player. Morgan City High School finished as state runner-up her junior and senior seasons. She maintained a 3.9 grade point average and graduated 13th out of a class of 147. Pipes, the daughter of James and Celeste Pipes, will attend the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she will major in criminology and eventually, a degree in forensics psychology.
