Lady Bulldogs, Lady Wolfpack will open playoffs
The Centerville Lady Bulldogs and the West St. Mary Lady Wolfpack will open play in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s 2017 playoffs Tuesday in their respective classes.
No. 13 seed Centerville (6-19) will play host to No. 20 seed Arcadia (2-13) in the Class A bi-district game in the opening round pairings Tuesday at 1 p.m.
In the Class 2A bi-district action, No. 31 seed West St. Mary (3-9) will take to the road to face No. 2 seed Many (22-6) Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
In the non-select games, the No. 6 seeded Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers will open in the regional action on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Houma Christian.
Hanson Memorial (13-12) is seeded sixth in Division IV while Houma Christian (19-11) is seeded 11th. The Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers will host the Houma Christian Lady Warriors on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the regional round of the Division IV playoffs.
