Hanson wins over Loreauville

LOREAUVILLE — Brian Sonnier poured in 23 points, leading the Hanson Memorial Tigers to a 50-23 victory over the Loreauville Tigers here Monday at the LHS Gym.
Hanson opened with a 13-0 run in the first quarter before going on a 13-4 run in the second quarter for a 26-4 halftime cushion. Hanson 44-13 at the end of the third quarter before strolling away with the 50-23 victory.
Sonnier bagged one trey, eight deuces and 5 of 6 charity shots for 23 points.
Other top scorers for Hanson were: Bryson Colbert, 7; Kody Boudreaux, 4; Pierce Hannagriff, 3; Kane Boudreaux, 2; Abdiel Macias, 2; Josh Frost, 2 and Joseph Lange, 1.
