Hanson claims district win

NEW IBERIA _ Hanson Memorial claimed a 48-0 District 7-1A victory over the Highland Baptist Bears here Thursday at HBCS Stadium.
Hanson Memorial improved to 2-5 overall and 1-3 in District 7-1A.
Highland Baptist is currently 0-7 on the season, including an 0-3 league mark.
Hanson will play host to parish-rival Central Catholic (3-3, 2-1) on Friday at McCloskey Field.
