Police Reports 3-27-17

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrest:
Zedrick Gibson, SJ Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Thursday, at 2:43 p.m., for the charges of carrying a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies and illegal carrying of a weapon. Gibson was released on a $10,000 bond.
Neile Lorenzo, 42, Cayce Street., Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 4 p.m., for the charge theft by shoplifting. Lorenzo allegedly concealed items, clothes and hygiene products, valued at $37.08 in a bag she was carrying. Lorenzo was released on a $1,500 bond.
Joey Jack, 42, O’Neal Chube, Franklin, was arrested on Saturday, at 3:37 p.m., for the charge of aggravated battery with a weapon. Jack was released on a $3,000 bond.
Marquita Shearron, 33, Eighth Street, Franklin, while incarcerated the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, was arrested on Monday, at 7:31 a.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of speeding. Shearron was held on a $305 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sher-iff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Donna Reed, 46, 1900 Saturn Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Friday at 11:35 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession on clonazepam with intent to distribute, warrant for failure to appear on the charges of hit and run driving, suspended driver’s license, following too closely, no insurance and no proof of registration, warrant for failure to appear on the charges on suspended driver’s li-cense and expired license plate, warrant for probation violation and warrants for theft and criminal trespassing. No bail is set.
Samantha Pavlick, 24, 9384 La. 182, Centerville, was arrested on Friday at 8:30 a.m. on a warrant for felony theft. A detective reportedly documented evidence that Pavlick, a former employee of an Amelia business, wrote checks on the company bank account and deposited approximately $26,000 into her personal account. Pavlick was released on a $2,500 bond.
Ryan Ledet, 24, 828 Lillian Lane, Amelia, was arrested on Saturday at 12:43 a.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, headlights required, careless operation and expired driver’s license. Ledet was released on a $7,000 bond.
Courtney D. Charles, 30, 190 Prairie Road, Verdunville, was arrest-ed on Saturday at 12:23 a.m. for possession of Schedule I – marijuana, possession of MDMA, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, manufacturing of cocaine, possession of Schedule IV – Xanax, possession of drug paraphernalia, transactions involving drug proceeds and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law. No bail is set.
A juvenile female, 16, Charenton, was arrested on Saturday at 11:10 a.m. for ungovernable juvenile and criminal damage to property. She was released to a guardian.
Dion Maize, 24, Morgan City, was additionally charged on Sunday at 2:39 p.m. for criminal damage to property. Maize remains incarcerated.
Ashton R. Pugh, 59, 1424 Victoria Riverside Road, Patterson, was arrested on Sunday at 6:24 p.m. for attempted carjacking. No bail is set.
Iraneka Amos, 25, 3025 La. 1, Labadieville, was arrested on Sunday at 9:55 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of aggravated battery and resisting an officer. No bail is set.
Jonathan Lancelin, 29, 113 Lancelin Street, Baldwin, was arrested on Sunday at 12:01 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. No bail is set.
Phillip Begnaud, 33, 4330 La. 182, Patterson, was arrested on Monday at 12:31 a.m. for bicycle equipment required and resisting an officer. Bail is set at $2,750.
Marquita Shearron, 33, 109 Eighth Street, Baldwin, was arrested on Monday at 5:10 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license. Bail is set at $806.
