Police Reports 3-13-17

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the following arrests:
Alex Edwards, 24, of French Street., New Iberia, while incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department, was arrested on Friday, at 10:51 a.m., for probation violation. Edwards remains incarcerated at the Franklin Police Department.
Carl Batiste, 52, of Myra Street., Franklin, was arrested on Saturday, at 7:31 p.m., for the charges of driving under suspension, switched license plate, two headlamps required, and no insurance. Batiste was also arrested for probation violation. No bond is set.
Juanita Solete, 52, of Ninth Street., Franklin, was arrested on Saturday, at 7:59 p.m., for disturbing the peace by loud and profane language and open alcohol container. Solete was released on a $250 bond.
Curtis Fuselier, 27, of Ninth Street., Franklin, was arrested on Sunday, at 10:58 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic violations. Fuselier was held on a $365 bond.
Jordan Hayes, 24, of Georgetown Rd., Franklin, while incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, was arrested on Sunday, at 11:34 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on traffic violations. Hayes held at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a $356 cash bond.
Michael Jack, 44, of LA 83, Baldwin, was arrested on Sunday, at 10:44 p.m., for disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Jack was held on a $1,000 bond.
Nicholas Anderson, 24, of Lasalle Street., Lafayette, was arrested on Sunday, at 11:08 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace by fighting and resisting an officer by flight. Anderson was additionally charged with illegal carrying of a firearm. Anderson was held on a $1,283 bond.
Barry Hurt, 26, of Lasalle Street., Lafayette, was arrested on Sunday, at 11:08 p.m., on warrants for failure to appear for traffic violations. Hurt was released on a $708 cash bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Brittany Bolden, 28, 301 Gumpoint Lane, Franklin, was arrested on Friday at 8:08 a.m. for maximum speed limit and driving with a suspended license. Bolden was released on a summons.
Randi Burgess, 35, 601 Kelli Drive, Patterson, was arrested on Friday at 9:05 a.m. on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Burgess was released on a summons.
Joel P. Plaisance, 29, 1206 Houma Highlands Court, Houma, was arrested on Friday at 12:48 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of hit and run driving. Bail is set at $2,500.
Shamorick Hensley, 37, 521C Trappey St., Jeanerette, was arrested on Friday at 2:58 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of Schedule I drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hensley was released on a $700 bond.
Richard Verret, 52, 702 Felix St., Jeanerette, was arrested on Saturday at 2:26 a.m. for no motor vehicle insurance, expired vehicle registration, and expired motor vehicle inspection sticker. Verret was released on a summons.
Jeremy L. Smith, 34, 1720 La. 182, Bayou Vista, was arrested on Saturday at 7:18 a.m. for driving with a suspended license and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operation a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. No bail is set.
Yolanda M. Wiggins, 31, 2128 Becnel St., Franklin, was arrested on Saturday at 6:59 p.m. for speeding, no motor vehicle insurance, and expired inspection sticker. Wiggins was released on a summons.
Alphonso Ruffin, 33, 1002 Washington St., Patterson, was arrested on Sunday at 9:58 p.m. for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and careless operation of a motor vehicle. No bail is set.
Charles Burbank, 33, 1629 Casa Calvo St., New Orleans, was arrested on Monday at 2:42 a.m. for improper lane usage and driving with a suspended license. Burbank was released on a summons.
Narcotics agents arrested Brandon Laborde, 24, 100 Fairview St., Kaplan, on Friday at 3:20 p.m. for possession of Schedule I – marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and on a warrant for probation violation. No bail is set.
Chitimacha Police Chief Hal Hutchinson reported the arrest of Oranong Wilburn, Hardware Road, Broussard on Thursday for the abuse of an adult and was released on a summons.
Preecha Khamiam, Marshall Road, Forest Hill, was arrested on Thursday for unlawful playing of gaming devices by persons under 21 and was released on a summons.
Luis Pena, 55, Irvington Boulevard, Houston, Texas, was arrested on Sunday for criminal damage to property. Pena was released on a summons.
Seth Menard, 27, Vidrine Lane, Church Point; Emma Morgan, 40, Octavia Drive, Scott; Bayli Istre, 27, Vicksburg Road, Rayne; Mitchell Dartez, 25, Santa Clara, New Iberia; and Kyle Bourque, 24, Soileau Road, New Iberia were arrested on Sunday for disturbing the peace. They were released on a summons.
Corey Istre, 37, Vicksburg Road, Rayne, was arrested on Sunday for remaining where forbidden. Istre was released on a summons.
