Area hospitals receive Birth Ready grades

Thibodaux Regional and Terrbonne General have received Birth Ready Designation, meaning they've met standards in five key areas.
Ocshner St. Anne, where the Ochsner Bayou Region's labor and delivery services have been consolidated, received a Birth Ready+ designation. That means the hospital has exceeded those standards.
The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) and the Louisiana Perinatal Quality Collaborative (LaPQC) determine which hospitals receive those designations.
