You’ve heard about online commerce giant Amazon’s decision to kill plans to put its second headquarters in New York. Berwick Mayor Duval Arthur has a question about that: Why did Amazon pick New York in the first place? Louisiana offered a reported $6.5 billion in incentives to land Amazon’s HQ2, which is worth an estimated $5 billion in investment and 25,000 jobs. That offer didn’t even make Amazon’s short list.
