The Morgan City 10-year-old All-Stars finished their season as Louisiana Dixie Youth AAA State Runners-up. Morgan City fell to Ruston this weekend in two games in the best-of-three series at the Louisiana Dixie Youth AAA State Championship Series at Johnny Downs Sports Complex in Alexandria. Morgan City fell in game 1 16-5 in five innings and 10-6 in game 2. Despite the tough ending, it's the first state runner-up for a 10-year-old Morgan City team in 17 years.
