The Morgan City High School soccer teams split their District 6-III contests at Haynes Academy Tuesday. The Tigers won 3-1, while the Lady Tigers fell 8-0. No individual stats were available. Friday, the Morgan City Tigers defeated Sophie B. Wright 8-0 in District 6-III action in Morgan City. Morgan City jumped out to a 7-0 halftime advantage. Edwin Zamundio recorded three goals for the Tigers, while Romero Reyes scored two. Helder Hernandez, Olvin Baca and Andy Rangel each scored one goal.
