A furious second-half comeback by the Morgan City Tigers proved all for naught as Archbishop Hannan scored a goal late in the teams’ Division III first-round playoff contest for a 5-4 victory.
Entering the Division III postseason, Morgan City High School Coach Trevor Patterson liked his draw as the No. 22 seed.
The Morgan City High School boys soccer team has qualified for the Division III playoffs. The Tigers, who are the No. 22 seed, will travel to face No. 11 Archbishop Hannan Saturday at 2 p.m.
The Morgan City High School boys’ soccer team finished the weekend with a tie and a loss.
The Tigers tied St. Charles on the road in its final District 6-III game Friday 2-all.
