A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at 11a.m., at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Leonard E. “Slim” Boudreaux, 60, a Franklin native and longtime resident of Baldwin, who passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his home.

Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Father Gregory Cormier will officiate the services.

Slim was a local entrepreneur, businessman, and die-hard LSU fan. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, was a past volunteer fireman in Baldwin, and was a talented Cajun cook.

Survivors include his two sons, Scotty Boudreaux of Jeanerette and Jason Boudreaux of Baldwin; his mother, Audrey Navarro Boudreaux of Baldwin; two brothers, Glen Boudreaux and his wife, Loretta, of Roberts Cove, and Ed (Boozer) Boudreaux and his wife, Donna, of Franklin; three grandchildren, Cade and Makenzie Boudreaux of Thibodaux and Luke Boudreaux of Baldwin; his former wife, Mary LeJeune Boudreaux of Jeanerette; one sister-in-law, Linda Boudreaux of Mobile, Alabama; and three nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Earl 0. Boudreaux; and his oldest brother, Rodney Boudreaux.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.
