The Golfweek La. South Am Tour played an event March 18 at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson. The field featured 147 players. Trey Coker captured first place with a 1-under par 71, while Kyle Chauvin finished second with a 72, David Levingston third with a 73 and Charles Mayea fourth with a 74. Deon Brent, left, and Willie Edwards teamed to record this week's lowest score, a 6-under par 30 to win the Tuesday Night Scramble at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson. The format was a Better Ball Shamble. Brent said of the team's score: "It could've been better had a few putts gone in."
