Morgan City High School had two boys basketball players earn first-team All-District 7-4A honors, including the league’s Defensive Most Valuable Player.

The Golfweek La. South Am Tour played an event March 18 at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson. The field featured 147 players.
