Theft, domestic abuse arrests reported in St. Mary

Local authorities reported Tuesday arrests on theft, domestic battery and failure to register charges.

St. Mary

Sheriff Gary Driskell reported that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 32 complaints and made these arrests:

--Christopher Lee Lumpkin, 41, Franklin, was arrested at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday on charges of failure to register as a sex offender and criminal trespass. Bail has not been set at this time.

Nathaniel Albert Rollins, 28, Patterson, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of theft and on two warrants alleging failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

--Adam Wade Roy, 37, Morgan City, was arrested at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday on a warrant alleging failure to appear on charges of domestic abuse battery, driving without license on person, operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition and failure to maintain liability insurance.

Bail has not been set at this time.

Morgan City

Chief Chad M. Adams reported that the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 call for service over the last 24-hour reporting period and made these arrests:

--Natasha Donshea Garner, 38, Federal Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday on charges of domestic abuse battery and simple battery.

--Lisa Ann Willis, 57, Tupelo Street, Morgan City, was arrested at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday on a charge of failure to appear for arraignment (16th Judicial District Court).

Patterson

Chief Garrett Grogan reported this arrest:

--Orbelin V. Murillo, 42, West View Park, Thibodaux, was arrested at 12:28 a.m. Wednesday on charges of speeding 69 mph in a 55 mph zone, no driver’s license and no motor vehicle inspection sticker.
