All-District award winners for Central Catholic High School baseball are Gregory Leger, Drake Angeron, Samarick Paul, Mitchel Lemoine, Blake Hidalgo, Adam Dupuis and Thomas Garber, first-team; Tyler Longman, Bryce Grizzaffi and Thomas Mire, second-team; and Brooks Thomas, Nathan Hebb and Luke Barbier, honorable mention. All four Tri-City area football teams competed in Central Catholic High School's annual 7-on-7 Tournament Saturday at the Central Catholic practice field. Central Catholic finished 4-0, while Berwick was 3-1, Patterson, 2-0-1 and Morgan City, 2-0. Several local football teams were on display at the annual Central Catholic 7-on-7 Tournament Saturday at the school’s practice field.

The Central Catholic Junior High School 6th- and 7th-grade squad won the parish title in the St Mary Parish Junior High Baseball League this season. Team members include, kneeling from left, Ty Ribardi, Andrew Cavalier, Dominic Case, Tate Aucoin, Channing Rivere, Jobe Stratton, and Rhett Thomas. Numerous people helped make the 28th annual Central Catholic Alumni Association’s Chef’s Dinner a success.
